I joined Silverline Memories in March 2023 as the Chair of the Board. Maria Graduated from Northumbria University in 1999 and embarked on a career in Health and social care, spending the initial 12 years working with families and young people experiencing homelessness. She furthered her education undertaking a Masters in Housing, social policy, and regeneration.  After working with all vulnerable groups within the sector, she specialised in Mental Health, working for Richmond Fellowship and Turning Point as Head of Operations.
