I have been at Silverline Memories for nearly 4 years, 4 happy years. I have made lots of lovely friends. I work voluntarily in the shop where customers are also very friendly, this job has given me so much happiness.

I have been a part of Silverline Memories since they opened in 2013. I enjoy spending time with the service users and seeing the amazing impact Silverline has on the community.

Due to my Autism I struggled to get a job, volunteering with Silverline has allowed me to enter a work environment without the pressure, I enjoy volunteering with Silverline.

I used to bring a lady who I cared for to the Dementia Choir, after she went into a home I became a volunteer, that’s just over a year ago! I love seeing out service users enjoying the activities and its lovely to chat to them and hear their great stories.

In spite of my chronic back and leg pain I still enjoy volunteering for Silverline. I want to give maximum effort for the nice service users and to see the smiles on their faces.
