Silverline Tea Dance
There are many benefits to dancing for people with Dementia. The movement boosts balance, strength and co-ordination and so reduces falls and stumbles. Physical activity in general boosts feel-good hormones, improves circulation and appetite and produces a feeling of health and wellbeing. The Silverline Tea Dances take place in a supportive environment with trained staff and volunteers on hand to encourage and support participation. Unlimited refreshments ensure good hydration and a fantastic social, fun and enjoyable afternoon.
