Silverline Tea Dance

There are many benefits to dancing for people with Dementia.  The movement boosts balance, strength and co-ordination and so reduces falls and stumbles.  Physical activity in general boosts feel-good hormones, improves circulation and appetite and produces a feeling of health and wellbeing.  The Silverline Tea Dances take place in a supportive environment with trained staff and volunteers on hand to encourage and support participation.  Unlimited refreshments ensure good hydration and a fantastic social, fun and enjoyable afternoon.

Our dances are held at St Aidan’s Community Centre, Princes Road, Brunton Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE3 5TT. From 1:30pm-3pm.  Dates for 2020:
